BLE Shield v1.0.0 PCB design finished

Hi,

since I started the Kickstarter project, is now already funded and there are still 13 days to go, I started to work on the final PCB design and the final firmware as well. The v1.0.0 is already available in a Kickstarter Project update, but not yet on my blog. So I will change this now and add this to the blog as well.

I’ll post the schematic and the updated boardfiles as soon as I soldered an additional engineering sample of this board to prove that there are now last minute bugs added while changing the board slightly.

    I am interested in the iOS audio applications of this device. Is it at all possible to control the iPod controls. Eg. Play, Pause, FF, Skip via bluetooth commands with this device?

      Not directly. The control of the Shield must be implemented using a dedicated app. I don’t know if you can control the music player from a custom app.

    wow I totaly am getintg one of these sets if it is avalable. It maps to my Experamental EEG EMG system using 8 ti’s ads1298 chips the maple is the micro controler their is a USB high speed FTDI Dip module ft2232h & 8 ads1298 boards

      Hello Luka,
      no the BLE Shield is not available from me directly. There will be some Shields available at Seeedstudio as soon as the Kickstarter Shields are delivered.

      There is a small batch ob BLEbee prototypes available from me directly and I will setup a discussion forum for that this weekend. Contact me directly at m dot kroll at mac dot com to get one.
