New MechSheet support page finished

Hello everyone,

since Christian and I decided develop more features for MechSheet during the next months, we setup a dedicated domain where we installed another WordPress instance to host MeshSheet related information only. The new support pages can be found through the following link:

http://www.mechsheet.mobi

Please participate in feature request polls and comment on the new Blog.

Thanks for downloading MechSheet more than 10.000 times. We will honor your great reviews with some nice new features. Version 1.0.4 is already submitted including theme support. Stay tuned, we will implement user wishes taken from the review texts as well 🙂

Michael & Christian.

So what’s going on with mechsheet? The link just loops back to the main site here, no mention elsewhere 🙁

Hi, sorry the page is still down. Will reactivate it soon. MechSheet will not gain any updates, since we were not able to get a license to add more stuff. Without any licence we are acting in a grey zone and won’t spend any development time on it. Sorry 🙁

    Hello Dr. Kroll,
would it be possible to create some kind of “import feature” like a blank sheet where a user can manually add his own mechs? Would this avoid the neccessarity of the license?

      Hi Thomas
we need to discuss this feature internally since we somehow decided not to spend any more time to add new features to mechsheet due to the licensing problems.
      Keep you posted.

      Michael.

Mechsheet is not working. It says that the website certificate is invalid. None of the mechs are loading. Could you please move the mechs into the app if you plan to completely drop support for this? Thank you.

      Hi Anthony
the App was discontinued due to cost on the server and certificate I was no longer willing to pay. Ideas to get some in app purchases integrated to support the development were stopped since we could not get a license from Topps.
Finally I pulled the app from the store but this would be done by Apple after a couple of weeks since they wanted to clean up the App Store from old unsupported Apps. Since MechSheet was targeted at iOS5 this might have happened.

MechSheet is discontinued and we are currently not thinking on investing more time to upgrade or rerelease the app.

      Sorry
      Michael & Christian.

    Hallo Michael.

      Michael & Christian.
