During this week my BR-EVAL-LE4.0-S2A and BR-XB-LE4.0-S2 orders of Blueradios arrived.
I have not yet had a chance to play around with it that much, but I hope to test it soon. Moreover I’m in good contact with other manufacturers as well, as I will test and write about other development kits is the future.

I’m looking into purchasing this module as well for a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle project. I’d be interested to know its latency. That is, the time to send 1 byte/packet of information from point A to point B.
For bluetooth, the time to send the 1st byte/packet is between 30-60ms. Apparently the first packet incurs a ton of overhead. Even if the connection is active.
From the reading I’ve done, it sounds like Bluetooth LE should have a much lower latency. But I have not seen it spelled out for the scenario I care about, which I described earlier.
